Dr Árpád Rab

Dr Árpád Rab is a senior research fellow at the Institute for Information Society at the National University of Public Service (NKE EJKK), the lead researcher of the UNESCO Chair on Digital Platforms for Learning Societies, and a member of the creative community of the Institute for the Future. For two decades, he has been researching the relationship between digital technologies and society, seeking to understand key current trends, future scenarios, and how to prepare wisely for changes in society and the labor market. His goal is to improve society’s situation through technology. He also served as a researcher and director at the Institute for Information Society at Budapest University of Technology and Economics (BME) for 15 years and worked as an associate professor at Corvinus University of Budapest for seven years. Nowadays, he primarily focuses on artificial intelligence and e-health. He is a committed science communicator, delivering nearly 100 conference presentations annually and regularly appearing on various media channels. In addition to his theoretical research, he works as a digital transformation and strategy consulting advisor for companies, undertaking 4-6 major projects each year.
