Zsuzsa Beke

Head of Public Relations and Public Affairs, Gedeon Richter Plc.

Zsuzsa Beke holds a degree in economics from the College of Foreign Trade and is a qualified English language financial and economic simultaneous interpreter. She later obtained a Diploma in Management Studies within the Oxford Brookes University’s MBA programme.

She began her career at the Press and Marketing Directorate of the Hungarian State Holding company and then worked for communications consultancies, focusing primarily on financial communications projects. For over two decades, she has been with Richter Gedeon Plc., where she currently directs domestic and international communications and government relations. In this role, she oversees the planning and implementation of external and internal corporate brand communications for the company and its subsidiaries. Her responsibilities span corporate brand building for all target groups in Hungary, as well as the European and Russian markets, and include media relations management, international campaign execution, CSR programme development and management, and Public Affairs activities in Hungary.

Zsuzsa is a board member of the Hungarian Advertising Association, a member of the International Public Relations Association (IPRA), and the head of the Communications Committee of the Hungarian Pharmaceutical Manufacturers Association.

She is the mother of three children and has a passion for Lake Balaton. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends, and sports are an integral part of her daily life.
